Sec. 12‑01. Division into wards.
The City of
Sec. 12‑02. First ward.
The
First Ward shall consist of all of that part of the City bounded as
follows: Beginning at the intersection
of the center line of Entrance Avenue and the North right-of-way line of Brookmont
Boulevard; thence Southerly along the center line of said Entrance Avenue to
its intersection with the center line of Chestnut Street; thence Easterly along
the center line of said Chestnut Street to its intersection with the center
line of Washington Avenue; thence Southerly along the center line of said
Washington Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Court Street;
thence Easterly along the center line of
said Court Street to its intersection with the center line of Chicago Avenue;
thence Southerly along the center line of said Chicago Avenue to its
intersection with the center line of Merchant Street; thence Easterly along the
center line of said Merchant Street to its intersection with the center line of
Wildwood Avenue; thence Southerly along the center line of said Wildwood Avenue
to its intersection with the centerline of Station Street; thence Easterly
along the center line of said Station Street to its intersection with the
centerline of Evergreen Avenue; thence Northerly along the center line of said
Evergreen Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Maple Street;

The
Third Ward shall consist of all that part the City bounded as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the West
right-of-way line of Main Avenue and the corporate limit line of the City, as
now existing; thence Easterly along the corporate limit line of the City, as
now existing, to its intersection with
the center line of the Kankakee River; thence following along the meandering
center line of said Kankakee River to its intersection with the West lot line
of Lots 1 & 14, Oakdale Subdivision, as extended Northeasterly; thence
Southwesterly along the West lot line of said Lots 1& 14, Oakdale Subdivision, as extended
Northeasterly to its intersection with the center line of Wall Street; thence Northwesterly along the
center line of said Wall Street to its intersection with the center line of Calista Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
said Calista Street to its intersection with the center line of said
Eighth Avenue; thence Southerly along the center line to its intersection with the center line of Charles
Street; thence Westerly along the center line of said Charles Street to its
intersection with the center line of Tenth Avenue; thence Southerly along the
center line of said Tenth Avenue to its intersection with the center line of
Hawkins Street; thence Westerly along the center line of said Hawkins Street to
its intersection with the enter lie of Curtis Avenue; thence Southerly along
the center line of said Curtis Avenue to its intersection with the South
right-of-way of Jeffery Street; thence Westerly along the South right-of-way
line of said Jeffery Street to its intersection with the corporate limit line
of the City as now existing; thence following along the corporate limit line of the City, as now

The Fourth Ward shall consist of all that
part the City bounded as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center
line of Kankakee River and McMullen Drive; thence Westerly along the center
line of said Kankakee River to its intersection with the West lot line of Lots
1 & 14, Oakdale Subdivision, as extended Northeasterly; thence
Southwesterly along the West lot line of said Lots 1 & 14, Oakdale
Subdivision, as extended Northeasterly to its intersection with the center line
of Wall Street; thence to its
intersection with the center line of Calista Street;
thence Westerly along the center line if said Calista
Street to its intersection with center line of Eighth Avenue; thence Southerly
along the center line of said Eighth Avenue to its intersection with the center
line of Charles Street; thence Westerly along the center line of said of
Charles Street to its intersection with the center line of said Charles Street
to its intersection with the center line of said Tenth Avenue; thence Southerly
along the center line of said Tenth Avenue to its intersection with the center
line of Hawkins Street; thence Westerly along the center line of said Hawkins
Street to its intersection with the center line of Curtis Avenue; thence Southerly
along the center line of said Curtis Avenue to its intersection with the center

The Fifth Ward shall consist of all that
part of the City bounded as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of West right‑of-way line of Brookmont Boulevard; thence Easterly along the North
right-of-way line of said Brookmont Boulevard to its
intersection with the center line of Entrance Avenue; thence Southerly along
the center line of said Entrance Avenue to its intersection with the center
line of Chestnut Street; thence Easterly along the center line of said Chestnut
Street to its intersection with the center line of Washington Avenue; thence Southerly
along center line of said center line of said Washington Avenue to its
intersection with the center line of Court Street; thence Easterly along the
center line of said Court Street to its intersection with the center line of
the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad right-of-way; thence Southerly along the
center line of said Illinois Central Gulf Railroad right-of-way to its
intersection with the center line of the Kankakee River; thence following along
the meandering center line of said Kankakee River to its intersection with the
corporate limit line of the City, as now existing; thence following along the
corporate limit line of the City, as now existing, to its intersection with the
West right-of-way line of Kennedy Drive; thence Northerly along the West

The Sixth Ward shall consist of all that
part of the City bounded as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of River Street Cobb
Boulevard; thence Southerly along the center line of said Cobb Boulevard, as
extended South, to its intersection with the center line of the Kankakee River;
thence Southerly and Easterly along the meandering center line of said Kankakee
River to its intersection with the East right-of-way line of Interstate 57;
thence Northerly along the East right-of-way line of said Interstate 57 to its
intersection with the corporate limit line as now existing; thence Easterly
along said corporate limits line as now existing to its intersection with the
center line of Maple Street (Waldron Road); thence Northwesterly along the
center line of said Maple Street (Waldron Road) to its intersection with the

The Seventh Ward shall consist of all

as now existing, and the center line of

Avenue to its intersection with the center line of Court Street; thence Westerly
along the center line of said Court Street to its intersection with the center
line of Elm Street; thence Southerly along the center line of said Elm Street
to its intersection with the center line of Maple Street; thence and Easterly
an Southerly along the center line of Maple Street its intersection with the
corporate limit line of the City, as now existing; thence along the corporate
